5. Face your fears

This one might seem a bit obvious considering the tips we’ve already discussed. However, one of the biggest things you need to do is face your fears. This is a step that can’t be skipped over if you are shy then you are nervous and probably scared to interact with other people. You experience various thoughts and ask questions like Will they like me? What if they don’t think I’m interesting? Or What if they make fun of me? These intrusive thoughts are prevalent among bashful, quiet people, but the best way to get over these fears is to face them head-on and use the suggestions we’ve talked about before.

Think things as they will like me? They won’t make fun of me, and I am interesting instead. Then go to each interaction with the goal of being self-confident and strong. So even though you’re nervous, try to project the opposite. A little bit of acting. Never hurt anyone. Fake it till you make it.
