Last, but not least, is to be a gentleman. Chivalry is not dead, or at least it doesn’t have to be. It’s often the small things that make the biggest impact. So show her that you care about paying attention to the little details where you guys are together.
1. Open doors. Let’s say you’re out shopping with your girlfriend. When you come up to a store, open the door for her. Don’t barge through and leave it to shut in her face. Hold the door open for her first and follow her. And afterward, it will make her feel very special.
2. pull out the chair when you guys are having dinner, whether it’s at a restaurant or at home, pull her chair out for her to sit down before you take your seat. It’s a courteous thing to do and it will make her melt.
3. put her coat on. No, don’t bear her coat on yourself. Offer it to put it on her. Hold the jacket open and let her slipper arms in. These are three simple gestures that will leave her feeling important and make her into the perfect gentleman.
