5. Ketogenic diet
The ketogenic diet involves eating a high fat and protein diet with very few carbohydrates. The idea is to put your body in a state of ketosis, wherein your body uses fat as a source of energy, so you’ll end up burning fat much more quickly.
Here’s a typical meal plan for the ketogenic diet.
- Breakfast: Scrambled eggs and bacon.
- AM Snack: Walnuts.
- Lunch: Steak, Salad with avocado.
- PM Snack: Trail mix
- Dinner: Baked salmon with asparagus.
